AMSUN hosts 2nd annual Leave No Medic Behind charity run

The 2nd annual Leave No Medic Behind (LNMB) charity run was held on 29th April, 2023.
The run which was organized by the Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN), aims at raising funds to support the financial needs of underprivileged students pursuing medicine.
The annual event brings together health professionals, enthusiasts, and supporters, united by their passion for making medical education accessible to all.
This year's event was graced by Faculty of Health Sciences Dean, Prof. George Osanjo.

AMSUN hosts inaugural white coat ceremony for freshmen

Becoming a medical student is in itself a big feat. Not only is it the first of many steps towards becoming a doctor, but it is also the beginning of a journey of 6 years that is like no other.
For this reason, the Association of Medical Students at the University of Nairobi (AMSUN), decided to usher in the new crop of medical students in the style and manner that this momentous occasion deserves.
That is with the first ever White Coat ceremony at the university.

The 5th edition of the AMSUN gazette is out

The AMSUN gazette is a monthly publication by the University of Nairobi School of Medicine that highlights various articles written by medical students under the Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN).

12th AMSUN Scientific Conference

The Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN) hosted its 12th Scientific Conference on the 9th and 10th June, 2022.

The event was officiated by Prof. Julius Ogeng’o, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs and the awards and closing ceremony hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences Dean, Prof. Evelyn Wagaiyu.

The Association of Medical Students University of Nairobi (AMSUN) Leave No Medic Behind Initiative Charity Run was held on Saturday 4th June 2022.

The event which was held at Kenyatta Campus was flagged of by Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng’o.
