UoN, HSFC KE sign pact to enhance training, clinical care and research in human reproduction

The University of Nairobi (UoN) College of Health Sciences (CHS) has signed a collaborative training and research agreement with Harley Street Fertility Centre Kenya Limited (HSFC KE).

The agreement will see the two organizations carry out training, clinical care, and research in human reproduction with emphasis on advanced assisted reproductive techniques at CHS, HSFC KE and affiliated fertility and andrology clinics.

College embarks on drive to plant 500 trees

College of Health Sciences (CHS) Principal, Prof. James Machoki led staff and students in a drive to plant 500 trees at Kenyatta Campus on 18th May, 2021.

The tree planting exercise was carried out simultaneously in seven sites at the University of Nairobi (UoN).

College receives assorted medical equipment donation from Republic of Hungary and Slovenia

The University of Nairobi (UoN) College of Health Sciences (CHS) is among three public health institutions that has benefited from a donation of medical equipment from the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia.

The assorted medical equipment worth Kshs. 20M  was officially handed over to CHS in a ceremony that was held on 12th February, 2021. 

UoN Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama was represented at the event by Prof. Julius Ogengó, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs.

Tunisia Health Alliance and Kenya Healthcare Federation collaboration with CHS

The University of Nairobi (UoN) College of Health Sciences (CHS) on Monday 14th December, 2020 hosted a delegation from Tunisia Health Alliance and Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF).  The delegation was received by CHS Principal, Prof. James Machoki M’Imunya and Dr. Peter Arimi, Technical Lead, Operations, Strategic Partnerships and Linkages, Center for Research, Innovation and Grants Advancement (CERIGA) 

USAID comes to the aid of final year medical students

The University of Nairobi (UoN) School of Medicine received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) support worth 12 million Kenya shillings from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The PPEs were handed over to UoN Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama by Mark Meassick, the Mission Director of USAID Kenya and East Africa on 16th September, 2020.
