The First Aid Club of the Faculty of Health Sciences marked 29th November 2025 with a stirring induction program at Kenyatta National Hospital, welcoming new and returning members into a community shaped by service, skill, and purpose.
Through reflections on vision, structure, and partnership, students were introduced to a club that goes far beyond extracurricular activity—one that nurtures confidence early, grounds learning in real-world practice, and opens pathways to leadership and global engagement. With affiliate bodies such as PA-K and IPPNW broadening horizons, the afternoon echoed a shared conviction: strong clinicians grow where professionalism, compassion, and responsibility meet.
As the annual calendar unfolded, ranging from first aid training and clinical simulation to mental-health advocacy, community outreach, and leadership development, enthusiasm within the hall was unmistakable. New members voiced a renewed sense of belonging, clarity, and motivation, empowered by a roadmap that blends academic growth with service to society.
The momentum set at KNH signals a year of deeper collaboration and purposeful action, as the Club continues shaping healthcare professionals who move forward with skill in their hands, community in their hearts, and confidence in their stride.
