The First Aid Club hosted an insightful Career Talk under the theme “Navigating Your Medical Career: Opportunities, Challenges, and Growth” on 30 May 2026, at LT1, KNH Faculty of Health Sciences Campus.
The session featured distinguished guests Mrs. Samantha Musyoka, CEO and Co-founder of Entepesi Kenya and Ms. Joyce Ngari a Community Health and Programmes Officer—who challenged students to reflect on a central question: “What kind of health professional do you want to become?”
Through compelling presentations, participants explored diverse opportunities in public health, community engagement, leadership, and social impact. Drawing from her entrepreneurial journey, Mrs. Musyoka highlighted the value of purpose-driven leadership, innovation, and adaptability in shaping meaningful careers. She encouraged students to align their ambitions with their strengths while remaining open to emerging possibilities.
Ms. Ngari offered practical perspectives from her work in community health programmes, underscoring the importance of collaboration, responsiveness, and sustainable interventions in advancing population health.
A lively question and answer session provided students with direct access to the speakers’ experiences and insights on professional development.
The event concluded with a powerful reflection: “Where will your medical career make the greatest impact?”—a question that left attendees inspired to envision broader horizons for their future contributions to healthcare.
The First Aid Club extends its appreciation to the speakers and all participants for making the event a resounding success.
