Dr. Marianne Mureithi has been appointed as the new Director of the KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research (KAVI-ICR).

A seasoned scientist and leader, Dr. Mureithi has been a key figure at KAVI-ICR for several years, serving as a Principal Investigator in major research areas including HIV, mucosal immunology, HPV, and cancer immunology.

She also chairs the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Nairobi and leads KAVI-ICR’s Basic Science Research Team.
