The Faculty is one of the Eleven Faculties of the University of Nairobi and a premier health training institution
in the region.
This Faculty Strategic Plan has been cascaded from the University of Nairobi Strategic Plan 2018–2023.
The process of formulating the new strategic plan in the Faculty of Health Sciences (CHS) has given us
the opportunity to take stock of our past successes, challenges and opportunities. The latter have largely
informed the strategies we have put forward for our development not only in response to changing
dynamics in the realm of Human Resource Capacity Building for health but also as an active and strategic
key player in driving intellectual, social and economic changes in Kenya, the Eastern African region and
globally at large.
