AMSUN 2nd annual Leave No Medic Behind charity run participants.
The 2nd annual Leave No Medic Behind (LNMB) charity run was held on 29th April, 2023.
The run which was organized by the Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN), aims at raising funds to support the financial needs of underprivileged students pursuing medicine.
The annual event brings together health professionals, enthusiasts, and supporters, united by their passion for making medical education accessible to all.
This year's event was graced by Faculty of Health Sciences Dean, Prof. George Osanjo.
Prof. Osanjo heaped praise on the organizers of the event and the and called on everyone to support this noble course.
The run was divided into two: 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre races.
Each year, the Charity Run attracts diverse participants eager to contribute to the cause. In addition to the run itself, the event often features engaging presentations and educational sessions by renowned experts in various fields of medicine, further enriching the experience for all attendees.
