COVID-19 global survey

We are currently in the midst of a global pandemic associated with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The key to halting the rapid spread of the COVID-19 and ‘flattening the infection curve’ is public adherence to drastic and rapidly evolving public health prevention measures that are now being widely implemented around the world.

However, adherence to these measures depends on: public awareness of local directives, the extent to which the public perceives these measures as relevant and important, and capability.

The School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences in collaboration with the Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre, affiliated with the University of Quebec at Montreal and Concordia University in Canada with over 100 researchers from 25 countries around the world, has launched an online global survey.

The aim of the survey is to assess public perceptions and responses to the various public health measures put in place to prevent or reduce the spread of COVID-19.  Prof Joyce Olenja, Director, School of Public Health is the Team Lead for Kenya.
