International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) is a student-led platform that brings together medical students to learn how to connect medicine to policy, activism, and real-world impact and address pertinent issues in conflict and war, inequality, climate, and planetary health through research, outreach, and dialogue.
Built under the global umbrella of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, the chapter trains students to think beyond labs, wards, and ward rounds – turning them into loud, informed voices on peace, disarmament, and planetary health.
The organization’s core activities include medical peace work courses, Art for Peace contest and exhibitions and public health community campaigns.
