The University of Nairobi held its prestigious annual Students' Recognition Ceremony at Taifa Hall, where 721 students were celebrated for their outstanding achievements across various fields.
The ceremony, attended by university staff, students, and sponsors, highlighted the institution's commitment to academic excellence, leadership, innovation, and social responsibility.
Among the honored students, 82 belonged to the Faculty of Health Sciences, a testament to the faculty’s dedication to academic and extracurricular excellence. The recognized students spanned various programs, including PhD, Masters, Fellowship, Bachelors, Diploma, and more.

The event celebrated not only academic success but also talent and community engagement. Diana Kipkoech was recognized for modeling, Stephen Kivuva Muindi for singing, and Lelia Clare Sandachi for modeling. Additionally, students excelled in sports such as handball, netball, soccer, and more.
The university also acknowledged students who displayed strong leadership and dedication to community service. Mavine Omondi, Gail Atieno, and Emilio Mbaki were honored for their contributions to social responsibility, while Ramesh Saxena, Joseph Kariuki, and Reuben Kagai received leadership awards.
