Visit by a delegation from the University of the West Indies (The UWI)

The delegation of the   University of the West Indies (The UWI) led by Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal: Professor V Eudine Barriteau, GCM visited the college of health sciences UoN as part of the University’s efforts to build strong partnerships with Africa’s top universities in the areas of faculty and graduate collaboration and research.

Barriteau is a Professor of Gender and Public Policy and is a Grenadian born, Caribbean feminist and activist with a distinguished record as a Caribbean scholar and administrator. She has served in various roles at The University of the West Indies for more than 30 years and has considerable experience in senior University administration.

The members of the delegation included Justin Robinson Senior Lecturer in Management & Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr.Kenneth L. Connell lecturer in clinical pharmacology and deputy dean preclinical(s). Some of the identified areas of possible corroboration included Transplant Medicine, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Training, Fellowships, BioSecurity Research, Exchange Programmes student and faculty.
