Prof. Daniel Ojuka is the new Dean of the University of Nairobi Faculty of Health Sciences following an election that was held on Wednesday 27th August, 2025.
Prof. Ojuka, who has been serving as the Chair of the Department of Surgery, takes over the leadership of the Faculty after winning the election against Prof. George Osanjo.
The University of Nairobi Faculty of Health Sciences warmly welcomed five exchange students from Yamaguchi University, Japan as part of an ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.
The Dean of the Faculty Prof. George Osanjo officially received the students and gave them an overview of the UoN’s rich history, academic programs, and contributions to health sciences training and research in Kenya and the region.
The University of Nairobi School of Pharmacy celebrated its golden jubilee by giving back to the community through a free medical camp held on Friday, 22nd August 2025, at Olympic Primary School, Kibra Sub-County, Nairobi.
The camp, organized by the University of Nairobi Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Association, brought together healthcare professionals, students, and partners to provide free medical services to residents of Kibra and its environs.
