Born in 1986 in Machakos County, Dr. Mwangangi pursued her secondary education at Pangani Girls High School in Nairobi. Her passion for healthcare led her to the University of Nairobi, where she earned her medical degree. Recognizing the importance of health economics in policy-making, she furthered her studies at the University of Adelaide in Australia, obtaining a Master's Degree in Health Economics and Policy in 2015.
