Over 65 students honoured and recognized during varsity's award ceremony

More than 65 students from the Faculty of Health Sciences were among the 800 awardees honoured during the University of Nairobi Students’ Recognition Award ceremony held on 5th May, 2023 at Taifa Hall.

The University of Nairobi held the 4th prize presentation of Students Recognition Awards on 5th May 2023 in Taifa Hall. Joining the awards were the Vice chancellor Prof.Stephen Kiama, Deputy Vice chancellor Prof. Julius Ogen’go, Deputy vice chancellor Academic Affairs, Deputy vice chancellor Research, Innovation and Enterprise, Chief operation officer, Deans and valued distinguished guests.

Collins Miheso emerged as the best student in academic perfomance at the Faculty of Health Sciences. He was given an opportunity to make a speech on behalf of all the awardees.

In his speech, Miheso praised his peers on the achievements and hardwork they had accomplished.

He lauded the University management for organizing the awards ceremony saying it was an honor to receive such recognition. The awards are a powerful tool to drive talents, innovation and development in various fields.
