Cancer has in recent times acquired an eerie omnipresence in the minds of our countrymen as they see all kinds of personalities, big and small go down with the disease.
The mood in our country today is governed by the fear of cancer through rumours peddled by people who most of the time lack the right information and know-how that can guide the fidgety population about what is actually going on.
STATEMENT ON EXAMINATION ISSUES RAISED BY 4TH YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS
Our attention has been drawn to issues raised by 4th year medical students concerning their end year exams.
The College Management has this afternoon held a consultative meeting with student leaders to address the issues.
The University of Nairobi (UoN) College of Health Sciences (CHS) played host to the funeral service for Prof. Francis Plummer, a renowned HIV researcher from Canada.
Prof. Plummer died on 4th February, 2020 in Nairobi. He was visiting Kenya to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the University of Manitoba and University of Nairobi research collaboration he helped to establish.
