The Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN) hosted its 16th International, Research and Scientific Conference on the 28th and 29th May, 2026 at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) Lecture Theatre 3 (LT3) under the theme “Innovation and sustainability in healthcare.”
Medical Error Reporting (MER) continues to be a challenge in health provision in Kenya and across the globe.
This is according to a recent study carried out by researchers from the University of Nairobi to assess the uptake, awareness and attitudes towards MER.
A study by University of Nairobi researchers has called for more regulation and need for integration of herbal medicine into mainstream medicine.
The study titled; Attitudes of Herbalists towards regulation and integration of Herbal medicine into mainstream healthcare in Kenya, sampled practicing herbalists registered in the various County Cultural Offices. A total of 70 herbalist association officials in 21 counties were interviewed.
