Members of the University of Nairobi’s (UoN) First Aid Club underwent a transformative and elite Fire rescue marshal training at the St John Ambulance Kenya Headquarters on 18th April 2026.

This high-impact session sharpened critical competencies in fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation leadership, and crisis coordination of 29 club members.

Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) medical students who constitute the membership of this club especially benefitted from this training as these are some of the skills that define the standard of readiness expected from future healthcare professionals and safety champions.

Set within one of the nation’s most respected emergency training institutions, the experience underscored a culture of precision, discipline, and service.

Participants emerged not only certified, but also elevated, equipped to lead from the front when it matters most. Prepared. Composed. Uncompromising.
