In an unprecedented turn of events, Team Spensa has been declared the winner of the University of Nairobi Student Association (UNSA) elections that was held on 22nd May 2026, claiming victory by running unopposed following opposing team’s failure to meet electoral requirements.
The team comprises of Eddy Spensa Ouma as the Chairperson, Kimeto Natasha Chepkorir as the Vice -Chairperson, Ibrahim Hassan Omar as the Secretary General, Brian Waithaka Moya as the Treasurer, Mwakili John Muthui as the Sports & Social Welfare Rep, Gloria Kendi Mugendi will be the PWD Representative and Makuvise Blessing as the International Student Rep.
The team is expected to officially assume office with immediate plans to implement key initiatives outlined in their manifesto.
