Varsity marks 72nd graduation, FHS graduand emerges class of 2024 valedictorian

The event which was presided over by the Chancellor Prof. Patrick V. Verkooijen saw 5,243 graduands conferred with various degrees and diplomas of the University of Nairobi.

Out of this number, 884 were from the Faculty of Health Sciences. The 884 candidates were presented to the Chancellor for the conferment of their respective degrees by the Faculty Dean Prof. George Osanjo.

UoN marks 67th graduation ceremony

The University of Nairobi held its 67th graduation ceremony on 23rd September, 2022.

 A total of 3553 graduands were conferred with degrees and diplomas and one Honoris Causa.  A total of 85 PhD 595 Masters degrees, 2508 Bachelor degrees, 62 Post Graduate Diplomas and 302 Diplomas were conferred to the well deserving graduands for their accomplishments. 

UoN celebrates 6,647 graduands during 66th graduation

The University of Nairobi held its 66th graduation ceremony on 17th December, 2021. On this occasion, the University celebrated the hard work of 6,647 graduands, ushering them out into the world to utilize their knowledge, skills and behavior to build the nation and serve their communities.

Speaking during the 66th graduation ceremony, the Chancellor, University of Nairobi, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, urged the graduating class to always remain determined and hopeful.

5709 graduate as UoN holds 2nd virtual graduation ceremony

The University of Nairobi (UoN) Chancellor Dr. Vijoo Rattansi conferred degrees and awarded diplomas to 5,709 graduands during the 64th UoN graduation ceremony held on 11th December, 2020.

This was the second graduation ceremony the University successfully held virtually in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

During the ceremony, the University awarded honorary degrees to Prof. Julia Ojiambo and Prof. Micere Mugo.
