In a bid to poise the University of Nairobi (UoN) as a global institution of scholarly excellence, the university through the Faculty of Health Sciences’ Department of Public and Global Health (DPGH), have formed a collaborative agreement with the Evangelical University Institute of Cameroon (IUEC).
University of Nairobi’s (UoN) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) received a delegation from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) from South Africa, on 19th May 2026 for a benchmarking session.
The UoN-FHS delegation led by Associate Dean Undergraduate Studies, Prof. C.F Otieno presented a detailed presentation on the faculty’s student academic support strategies that facilitate the faculty’s success in delivering scholarly success.
Under the scorching Nairobi sun, medical students joined other 30 students from different campuses of the University of Nairobi (UoN), walking shoulder to shoulder through Ngong’ Road, Ralph Bunche, Valley Road, Kenyatta Avenue, Nyerere and Mamlaka streets, with one purpose: to clean the roads from plastics and create awareness about waste management and its health impacts.
