CHS COVID-19 pandemic response and research committee holds inaugural research forum

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) COVID-19 Response and Research Committee held inaugural virtual research forum on 7th July, 2020.

The main objective of holding the session was to discuss research being conducted at CHS towards COVID-19 response.

There are several exciting research projects lined up for presentation during the sessions that will be held every Tuesday from 9am to 10am.

Dr. Ombajo: Reopening will be associated with rise in COVID-19 cases

The University of Nairobi (UoN) School of Dental Sciences (SDS) received a donation of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic containment items on 23rd June, 2020.

COVID-19: CHS Principal receives 200 face shields donation from OTPAK

The Operating Theatre Practitioners Association of Kenya (OTPAK) donated 200 face shields to the University of Nairobi (UoN) College of Health Sciences Principal, Prof. James Machoki.

The face shields were handed over to Prof. Machoki on 12th May, 2020 by OTPAK Chairman Prof. Pankaj Jani, who is also a lecturer in the Department of Surgery, School of Medicine. UoN.
