The procession for the late Prof. George Magoha at the Faculty of Health Sciences is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 8th February, 2023 at the faculty of health sciences and this will affect the faculty’s inside parking area from 6:00am-11:30am. All the students and staff are therefore advised to park at the New Pharmacy Building, Nursing and Old Pharmacy parking areas. Prof. David Wedge from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom was hosted at the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Health Sciences for a cancer seminar where he gave a talk on Cancer Evolution and Ethnicity.

The University of Nairobi USAID Fahari ya Jamii project, in partnership with the Nairobi City County Government was honored to host Dr. John Nkengasong, the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, at the Mathare North Health Centre on 24^th January 2022.

The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress and successes achieved over the past 20 years through the implementation of programs aimed at ending HIV in the county.
