Launch of Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis for Africa (CEMA)

The Center for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA) is a multidisciplinary centre at the University of Nairobi to support the control,
elimination, and eradication of infectious diseases through data-driven decision making to improve health in Kenya and Africa.
The launch of CEMA marks a milestone in how data informs the management of disease outbreaks and epidemics, and the control and elimination of infectious diseases. It will also inform how research improves surveillance and response to public health events.
