The Department is a regional World Health Organization recognized training center for radiologists for East, Central and Southern Africa. To date we have successfully trained over 180 consultant radiologists many of whom are gainfully employed not only in Africa but also in Australia, UK and Canada and over 30 specialized sonographers and sonologists.
More than 10 top performers in 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will join the University of Nairobi (UoN) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) to study medicine.
Simiyu Robin Wanjala who topped in the national exams had wished to study medicine at UoN. His dream has come true after the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) placed him to study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at UoN.
