Celebrating world haemophilia day

The Kenya Haemophilia Association (KHA) in collaboration with Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) held celebrations to commemorate world haemophilia day 2024.

World haemophilia day is celebrated every 17th day of April. This year’s celebration was themed “equitable access for all.” The event brought together students, medical practitioners, people living with Haemophilia and other key stakeholders in the field.

Global health talk by Dr. Ahmed Ogwell

The University of Nairobi Students Association - Faculty of Health Sciences (UNSA - FHS) is delighted to extend an invitation to all healthcare students in Kenya to a global health talk on "The Role of Young Medics in Health Security."

This insightful talk will be given by the famous and larger-than-life figure in the field of Global Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Ogwell. He is the Vice President of Global Health Strategies at the UN Foundation, former Deputy Director General of Africa CDC, and an alumnus of the Department of Dental Sciences (BDS) here at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
