UoN & UM win prestigious BCDI 2030 grant for pioneering medical microbiology & infectious diseases research

We are proud to announce a landmark achievement. The Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Health Sciences, at the University of Nairobi, in partnership with the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, has been awarded a significant grant of approximately 70 million Kenyan Shillings (KSH) from the Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030).

“UANDISHI-Building Capacity for Writing Scientific Manuscripts” is an innovative and experiential training program in mentoring and scientific manuscript writing aimed at building capacity for scientific writing, at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) University of Nairobi (UoN); the program is hosted at KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research.
